Studying this complex environment from a data-centric perspective enables him to assess the quality and potential benefits of data for its long and short-term utility, preservation, communication, as well as reuse. Adopting a broad, interdisciplinary research agenda, he has collaborated and published with scholars in areas such as basic sciences, educational technology, mobile health, geosciences, astrodynamics, and power systems engineering.
