The Age and Care Research Group Graz is dedicated to future-oriented aging and care research and deals with questions relating to demographic change, health opportunities in old age and the "good life" until the end of life on the basis of inter- and transdisciplinary, interfaculty and inter-university cooperation. Researchers and lecturers from all four Graz universities work together to analyse current problems and develop viable solutions in order to better meet current and future challenges (so-called "grand challenges") and to counteract social divisions. Particularly important for sustainable interdisciplinary cooperation is the interdisciplinary promotion of early career researchers.
The Age and Care Research Group Graz takes responsibility to counter ageism in research and practice and recognizes the individuality and diversity of aging experiences.
Membership in the Age and Care Research Group Graz is non-binding and free of charge. Researchers and practitioners can send an email to be affiliated.
