The partner institutions of the Age and Care Research Group Graz - ACRGG (Med Uni Graz, TU Graz, Kunstuni Graz, University of Graz), as jointly responsible parties, treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal requirements.

This data protection declaration is intended to inform you in accordance with Articles 12 and 13 of the GDPR, about the purpose, lawful basis, and your rights regarding the processing of personal data by ACRGG.

 

Purpose and lawful basis for the data processing

1. Publication of profiles and contact details on the ACRGG website

You, as a researcher or practice partner, can provide us with personal data for the publication of your profile and contact details on the ACRGG website for the purposes of networking and promoting your work. We process personal data optionally disclosed by you on the lawful basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1a) [in conjunction with Art. 9 (2a)] of the GDPR.

This may include the following personal data:

• First and last name(s)

• Title
• Address, telephone number, fax or e-mail address (professional or private)
• Photo
• Research institution/university or organization
• Main focus in teaching and research/expertise in practice
• Short curriculum vitae
• Public link to publications
• Public link to (externally funded) projects
• Public link to teaching activities
• Other personal data disclosed

1. Junior Research

For information about young researchers (dissertations) in the Age and Care research area, we publish additional personal data (name, dissertation topic, if available a short abstract or a link to the abstract of my dissertation, and other personal data disclosed by you) on the lawful basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1a) [in conjunction with Art. 9 (2a)] of the GDPR.

 

3.  Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter to be informed about news, events, etc. of the research group, we process the following personal data:

• Title
• First and last name(s)
• E-mail address

The processing of this data is based on your consent (Art. 6 para 1 lit a DS-GVO). You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

 

Retention period

Based on consent: data processed on the basis of consent will be stored until you withdraw your consent. In case you withdraw consent, only your personal data absolutely necessary for the purpose of proving your consent or withdrawal will be stored for a period of 3 years from withdrawal.

In the event of a legitimate interest: your data will be processed as long as necessary for the preservation of our legitimate interests or until (justified) objection is raised. In addition, we will store your data if there are statutory retention periods or if the statute of limitations regarding potential legal claims is still open.

 

Transfer of your personal data

Your data will only be processed within the Age and Care Research Group Graz - ACRGG, and we will not transmit your data to external bodies.

Your rights

Regarding the processing of your data, you have the following rights at any time, which can be asserted with the administration of the Age and Care Research Group Graz, Attemsgasse 25/III, 8010 Graz, mail address ageandcare(at)uni-graz.at:

• Right of access to the personal data in question (Article 15 GDPR),
• Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR) and erasure (Article 17 GDPR), or to restriction of Processing (Article 18 GDPR),
• Right to data portability (Article 20, GDPR),
• Right to object (Article 21 GDPR),
• Right to withdraw consent (Article 7 (3) GDPR), which shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before the withdrawal.
