The workshop "User involvement and communication at eye level - hands-on presentation of the new Informed Consent Toolkit of the Ethics Working Group" is primarily aimed at researchers and developers who involve (older) users in their projects. This usually requires a so-called Informed Consent. How this declaration can be designed in a good and practicable way will be presented in this workshop, which is organized by the Geriatric Health Centers Graz, the University of Applied Sciences Carinthia, the Austrian Institute of Technology and the Working Group Ethics AAL AUSTRIA. Based on examples, which you are welcome to bring along from your practice, the toolkit will be applied exemplarily. Your contributions to the discussion will subsequently be incorporated into the toolkit.
The Center for Age-Adapted Assistance Systems offers an AAL showroom, as well as advice and information on assistive technologies for self-determined living for older people, and is an important component of the Center for Healthy Aging of the Geriatric Health Centers of the City of Graz (Haus Esther). The guided tour through the center will give you an insight about current products and solutions.
At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and network with the experts present.
