The Age and Care Research Group Graz is dedicated to future-oriented research into ageing and care and deals with issues relating to demographic change, health opportunities in old age and living well until the end of life on the basis of inter- and transdisciplinary, inter-faculty and inter-university cooperation.
Researchers and lecturers from all four universities in Graz work together with partners from the field to analyse current problems and develop viable solutions in order to better meet current and future challenges and counteract social division. The interdisciplinary promotion of young talent is particularly important for sustainable cooperation.
The Age and Care Research Group Graz assumes responsibility for the social role model function of the universities in Graz by speaking out against any kind of ageism in research and practice and recognising the individuality and diversity of ageing experiences.
Membership of the Age and Care Research Group Graz is free of charge and non-binding. Researchers and practitioners can register by sending an e-mail enquiry to ageandcare(at)uni-graz.at.
